Come to think of it, I believe Dan responded over on David's site to David's club idea on a post that referred to something I'd written. Or podcasted. Or something.

Awww, heck. I don't know. It just happened!

It's way past my bedtime.

David wanted Ponyz Stylin' Show; Dan preferred the New York Times Crossword Puzzle Game (DS). But I insisted on death, corruption, and soul harvesting...so we wound up with Grim Fandango. :-P

Actually, we just chatted and tossed around a few titles. I think David and I had been separately thinking about a collective game playthrough, and David happened to mention it here on Cruise Elroy. His description of it as a club clicked with me, and Dan was enthusiastic about the idea too, so we just started trading emails.

For me personally, I've been playing some very heavy games lately, so a comedic adventure really sounds good to me right now.
